I am very well pleased with my results.  I often get complemented on looking so young and fresh yet they can't figure out what is different.  No obvious signs of plastic surgery is the work of a wonderfully, skilled surgeon.

Before Dr. Cowen performed the procedure, I was having problems when I drove because my poor peripheral vision caused me to midjudge turning and I would hit curbs.  Dr. Cowen and his staff calmed my fear of having surgery and my vision problem was completely resolved.

Dr. Cowen is a very thoughtful and very caring physician.  I was very nervous and frightened before the procedure and he made me very easy in calming my nerves.  I feel I look 15 years younger and it has improved my vision.

I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery.  My eyelids were impairing my vision.  I'm glad I did it.  People comment that I look 10 years younger!

Ptosis-never knew what that was.  Droopy-saggy eyelids that affected my vision.  Dr. Cowen fixed my problem.  Now, my vision has improved and I look (according to my husband) 10 years younger.  Dr. Cowen has the best bedside manners, a professional and sincerely caring person.

Today was the 2nd time this week someone I was speaking with stopped talking and said “did you do something to your hair? I knew where the conversation was going and simply said “no” they looked a little longer and asked “did you have your teeth whitened” and I chuckled and said “no” and both looked and said well something is different, you look great, so rested. BOTH the exact same thing except vice versa on the hair and teeth comment but both said you look so rested. The girl who told me that today was sitting behind a desk and after she said you look so rested, I said while leaning my face towards her “look again” and she jumped up out of her chair and said “what did you do, did you get work done?!!! You look fabulous! I then told her the whole story and boy has my office been buzzing about it. I am not the best writer at all but wanted to tell you all the stories of the week. So encouraging, Just like you all said, rested is the look and I love it. So natural people can’t put their finger on it, absolutely perfect. I am so happy about it. Thanks ladies and see you soon!

Thyroid disease has devastating effects on the body and in my case, the eyes.  The orbital decompression surgery and eyelid surgery not only changed my appearance but gave me back my life.  I am so thankful I found Dr. Cowen.  He helped me through a hopeless situation.
